Dog Ears to host book-signing event

A book-signing event for “How to Tame a Macker,” a children’s book written by Mark Privateer and illustrated by Nicole Haberer, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Dog Ears Bookstore, a nonprofit bookstore located at 688 Abbott Road in South Buffalo. The book was recently published by No Frills Buffalo, a new publishing company based in Buffalo and founded by Mark Pogodzinski.

Privateer and Haberer are both teachers at Frontier High School. Privateer is a special education teacher while Haberer is employed as an art teacher.
