Annunciation to host holiday events

Annunciation Church and School, located at 7580 Clinton St., Elma, will host several free holiday events that are open to the public.

An Advent Evening of Reflection titled “Keep It Simply Simple” (amidst the frenzy of the holidays), will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Selbert Hall. Sr. Louise Alff, OSF, will serve as presenter.

The Home School Guild's annual St. Nick Craft Fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in Annunciation School. The event will feature Christmas gifts, refreshments, a basket raffle, wreath sale and Christmas tree sale.

The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will continue its 2011 Sacred Spaces concert series with a program at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in Annunciation Church. The concert will feature works by Handel, Lotti, Hogan, Dawson and others.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, students from Annunciation School will perform their annual Christmas pageant in the church. This year’s program is titled “Angels Aware.”
