I could tell many stories of how cock roaches climb up my steps and the side of my house due to the neighbor using bombs to get rid of these pests, that doesn't seem to be working. I stood by my little girls side as she sat down for lunch and I had to close the window because this open garbage can smells so bad it enters my kitchen, during a meal it is sickening. I called and reported this to our sanitation department last month, nothing has been done. I asked the kids if they could please mover the trash can back into their yard as the entire street does, they did and then the adult put it back. You can hear the street cats in the can at night, next there will rats it is how they come. I know they have rats due to the traps all over their house, plus the smell of dead ones in their yard. I know these kinds of people are lazy, yet what can I do? I called our 311 resolution center and I received the owners name in Brooklyn, NY as a property management agency so the people taking care of the property are agents. I will have to try to locate them I guess. I can not allow this to go unaddressed. I have small children as well as they do. I have more issues regarding these new neighbors that are drastic but this is first. Report these things so that Buffalo can be ready to deal with them properly. I am sure most of us are not willing to house others rats nor roaches. I am going to keep mine clean. I will update the results here as well.
