Students participating in the new Center for Health Science at Annunciation School in Elma were given a lesson in lung function, learned some CPR training tips and were taught how to administer an injection during a field trip to Buffalo General Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 20. This is the third health-related field trip for the student this year. Previous visits were to Rural/Metro Medical Services and Mercy Flight.
The Center for Health Science at Annunciation School is an innovative two-year curriculum that offers students hands-on opportunities in a variety of health science environments. Among the supporters of the Center are Independent Health, UNYTS, Catholic Health and Kaleida Health.
