MQA students collect for Compass House

During the month of October, the eighth-grade class at Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School in Cheektowaga is sponsoring a collection for Compass House.

Located in Buffalo, Compass House offers safe shelter and crisis counseling for runaway and homeless youth. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Compass House is in need of personal care items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, lip balm, lotion and hand sanitizer, washcloths, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Travel-size items are encouraged. Items can be dropped off at Mary Queen of Angels, 170 Rosewood Terrace, during school hours through Oct. 26.

For more information about Mary Queen of Angels School, please visit www.mqangels.com or call the school office at 895-6280.
