You can meet a member of Buffalo's four Super Bowl teams this Saturday, Aug. 27, when Mark Kelso visits Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles from 10 a.m. to noon. Bases Loaded is located at 794 French Road in Cheektowaga. Kelso will be signing autographs, so bring your sports memorabilia or just pick something up at Bases Loaded!
Kelso will be joined by Joe Kirchmyer, author of “Diamonds in the Rough.” Kelso wrote the foreword for the book, a collection of sports stories covering a variety of topics, from local sports leagues to cases of pure human survival.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the tuition assistance program at St. Mary's High School in Lancaster. For more information, call Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles at 656-0066.
