This piebald deer was born in May and we have been watching it grow with its mom and twin fawn. They munch on our scrub apple tree nightly and "Whitey" as we call him/her, also comes out at dawn. The mom is pretty protective when it is out in the open. Its natural camouflage from predators obviously doesn't exist. We hope it will survive hunting season, as it is such a rare creature.
