At approximately 6pm tonight, there was a reported call that there was something that appeared to be a bomb at a house on Caroline Street in the Village of Albion. The roads were blocked off by the local police and neighboring houses were told to evacuate. According to the neighbor he was digging around the area of his porch and came across a pipe with a "wick" hanging out of it. He called 911 and the proper precautions were taken. The Bomb Squad showed up, and they carefully removed and detonated it in the backyard of the house. Many onlookers and the mayor of Albion showed up to see what went on.
