Thanks to Kate Mini, Students in WNY United’s Leaders in Training Program got the opportunity to team up with Buffalo Urban Outdoor Education (BUOE) Foundation and hit the open waters of Lake Erie for a day on the Spirit Of Buffalo. Students learned about Lake Erie and its waterfront, while sailing on its waters. They learned about different fish and plant life in the lake, and learned a few things about sailing.
