Breakout & LoveBuffalo 2011 Press Release - July 11th-15th
All this week (July 11th-15th) over 250+ students and leaders, from many churches and organizations from around WNY, are partnering together with local pastors, churches/ministries, businesses, the city of Buffalo and many other organizations to restore homes, restore hope and restore community on the westside of Buffalo. And you are invited to join in the movement.
Everyday from 9:30am-6pm (with the primetime being 1pm-3pm when both Breakout and LoveBuffalo serve side by side for maximum impact) we would love to have the press stop out to our “GreenZone” (there is a huge tent and signage) at the intersection of Vermont and Normal to see and hear all that is happening. In the blocks surrounding this intersection, you can see blue shirts of volunteers of all ages, serving, loving and fixing up over 20 projects on these streets. (Very similar to when extreme makeover was here).
We would love to others come serve alongside us and want to invite everyone we can to come join in this movement.
