A Beechcraft Bonanza crashed prior to the Geneseo Air Show today, while attempting to land. The 4 people aboard walked away from the crash. There was no fire but the aircraft had substancial dammage. The aircraft was carring spectators to the show.
A second crash involving a WWI replica aircraft, wich was also severly damaged, and the pilot also walked away. This aircraft was having engine trouble and attemped to land back on the runway, but instead landed in a corn field. After a short pause, the Air Show continued with no other mishaps. Sunday is the second day of this spectacular gathering, of many, one of a kind flying aircraft. The gates open at 6am and the flying starts at 10am.
