The Western New York Federal Credit Union has been fundraising for the West Seneca Relay For Life Event (American Cancer Society) since February 2011. With fundraisers such as a Bake Sale, TV Raffle, Contests and a very successful Beer Blast they were able to exceed their goal of $11,500.00 with a total amount of $12,582.00. This is the 8th year that the credit union has participated in this event which took place at the WS East HS on June 11, 2011. The staff, members and community come together every year to contribute to the success of this cause. The Western new York FCU has raised to date over the past 8 years a total of $52,680.34. This money goes to research in the hopes someday we will have cure for cancer.
