On 6/18/11 the Wilson NY Community Enhancement Charity, Inc sponsored a 5k run to benefit WCEC Inc. The Wilson (NY) Community Enhancement Charity, Inc., is a 501 c (3) Not for Profit corporation, whose mission is to promote recreational activities, concerts, the arts, tourism, and the overall enrichment of the Wilson NY Community. One of the events was a School Team Competition where students from local schools form teams of and compete. A team from Wilson Middle School took first place in the event.
