Dangerous Sidewalks, and it's only December

These are pictures of the sidewalks by the Historical Society building and Buffalo State College. The sidewalks have not been cleared, at all, since the first snow this year. They are coated with large chunks of ice, and are slick, slippery and dangerous. The sidewalk is right next to a busy road, Elmwood ave, and the sidewalk leads right over an overpass. If someone fell while walking on the sidewalk they could fall to their doom by falling onto the road, or falling off of the overpass. If the city has fell this far behind in clearing the sidewalks so far, I am terrified to think what will happen when we get more snow later on in the season.

I am a concerned student at Buffalo State College, this has been a on-going problem for the past 3 years that I have attending the school. I am glad that someone is finally speaking up about the issue, because I fear for my life, walking to class.
