Greenwood Verterans Park

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES

American Legion Post 836, of Wilson, N.Y., held their annual Memorial Day Service in the Greenwood Veterans Memorial Park in Wilson, on a beautiful day, to honor all the Veterans, of all Services that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Also, the casket flag of Robert Horton, a Navy Veteran, past Mayor of Wilson, past Wilson Fire Chief and Hardware Store Owner, was raised on the flag pole in Greenwood Cemetery in Wilson.
Also a small ceremony was held at the Wilson Historical Society Museum, Memorial Day Fair, at the Flag Pole.
