Burgard High Achievers Recognized

Fifty-eight Burgard High School honor and merit roll students achieved averages of 85 and better during the 3rd quarter marking period. The scholars were treated to a continental breakfast and awarded certificates that acknowledge their accomplishments.

In a special program, the dedicated students were welcomed by fellow student, Tatyana Thomas, followed by a congratulatory message by Principal Brian Wiesinger.

Several staff members contributed to the event for refreshments in recognition of the students, as did Dunkin Donuts and Wegmans. A raffle was then held by lottery so that a few lucky scholars could win either a Barnes and Nobles gift card or an MP3 player.
