potholes in north tonawanda

I have lived on sherwood ave in NT for about 5 yrs now. The potholes are terrible and the town has only filled them over the years. They wanted to pave the street, new sidewalks and pipes ect..But wanted the residents on the street to pay so much out of pocket. We pay our taxes so why do we have to pay out of pocket. Most of my neighbors are elderly and have lived on this street for 40yrs. That was the last time it was paved. I cant even walk my dog without worrying about the potholes and cars. We have alot of deer and turkeys to watch for along with trying to watch for the huge holes. Please HELP US!!!Thank-you

I live on Sherwood and have been there for 35 years and this is the worst that i have seen it. You used to be able to dodge some of the holes, but not anymore. Something has to be done.

These pictures do no justice as to the condition of this road! I have lived on Sherwood for over ten years and all we ever get is small patches and potholes poorly filled usually by late June. Take a ride down our road, bring helmet and mouth piece!
