Pet Connection Programs Inc., a nonprofit maternity and special care animal shelter located in Marilla, has several community events planned during the month of April. The shelter has been placing animals into loving homes throughout Western New York since 1984.
Volunteers will be selling pet totes filled with treats for dogs and cats at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 2 and 23. Puppies will be there to greet visitors as well.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, Pet Connection volunteers will be at the Pomona Grange Flea Market and Craft Show taking place at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg. And from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, Pet Connection will be visiting the beautiful Larkin at Exchange Building at 726 Exchange St. in Buffalo.
For those interested in adopting from Pet Connection, adoption hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the shelter.
