Sheriff Howard visits Annunciation

Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard was a special guest at Annunciation School in Elma on Wednesday, reading books to a very attentive kindergarten class. Wednesday was Dr. Seuss’ birthday and National Reading Across America Day.

Located at 7580 Clinton St., Annunciation School will also be hosting an Open House and Winter Carnival from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10. Registration forms for the 2011-12 school year will be available during the event.

Middle States accredited, Annunciation combines traditional classroom teachings with creative learning experiences, Pre-K3 through Grade 8. The school currently serves the Alden, Alexander, Attica, Cheektowaga, Depew, East Aurora, Iroquois, Lancaster, Orchard Park and West Seneca school districts, and busing is available within a 15-mile radius.
