In the spirit of bringing attention to brain research, I have entered my video called HEALING WATERS in the Neuro Film Festival.com
It's a four-minute story on how the river and water have taught me lessons in dealing with the demands of dementia. It features the mighty Niagara River throughout the seasons.
For over 20 years I have been a caregiver to my parents. As western New Yorkers we have found joy and peace along the river from Buffalo and Lake Erie to the Niagara Gorge and Lake Ontario. It’s beautiful any time of year!
The video was created to give inspiration to caregivers and to show others what are some of the symptoms of dementia.
