Fringe attracts more than 25,000 fans annually.

Fringe will appeal to festival lovers

To describe the London (Ontario) Fringe Festival presents a bit of a challenge. Imagine having your choice of 50 different theatre companies from across Canada and around the world. Consider that there are 350 performance times and on stage there will be everything from musicals, comedies, dramas, dance, clowns, magic and shows that defy categories and descriptions. And that’s just for starters!

Now you also need to image over 100 visual artists exhibiting in the art gallery and participating in a one-night contemporary art experience that explodes onto the streets in the downtown core.

Added to the mix are the more than 25,000 people who come to the Fringe Festival annually. During the 10 days, audiences are eagerly going between the six different theatre locations, all within easy walking distance of one another, and participating performers are chatting up the lines before the shows. The Fringe creates a friendly, vibrant atmosphere where people gather to enjoy and celebrate the arts. It is definitely something that you will want to experience for yourself.

From June 16-26, the London Fringe will once again take over downtown London and offer an extraordinary array of independent arts experiences. Ticket prices are very affordable, from pay-what-you-want up to a maximum of $10. Avid theatre goers have three different multi-ticket package options that make the Fringe even more affordable.
