Eden Evans Ctr Rd - worst road in Western New York from I90 Exit 57A to Rte 5 4 miles long in this condition

Worst Road in Western New York

Traveling off the I-90 to the Eden-Angola Exit 57A which is a beautiful ride, but when you get off at the Eden Angola Exit at 57 A and enter the Eden-Evans Center Rd. heading west for 4 miles to Route 5 in the Town of Evans, you are dodging potholes, erosion, sunken pavement constantly, non-stop all the way to Rte 5. Seeing is believing. I took a lot of photos of this highway and was disgusted to see what deplorable condition this road is in. It's completely eroding away. It shows not only the conditions that mother nature bestowed upon us from this icy-cold winter, but for this to happen it only points out the fact that poor road construction and engineering were involved in the contruction of this highway. Where are our county tax dollars going? This is the second year with this road in this terrible condition and it's ten times worse now. You have to drive on the shoulder of the road to avoid the road conditions and I have seen tractor trailors driving on the shoulder of the road or swerve into the other lane, which is just as bad. Maybe somebody should take Gov. Cuomo down this road and show him that we need this road repaired, before something happens. Filling the potholes isn't going to fix this
problem -- it's the whole road. Something has to be done. You can drive on the major highways in Canada and not have to deal with the roads falling apart like this and not a bump in the road. They last for years. Maybe our DOT needs to send their highway engineers up there and find out what they are doing when constructing their highways and what we need to do to keep our highways from deteriorating. We'd be saving tax dollars and not throwing them out the window. If you need to get off at this exit -- drive very carefully or get off at the exit before or after 57A.

I drove on this road several times over the past weeks. The only way to drive on that road is on the shoulder.
