On Saturday, February 5th, 2011 the 1st Annual Ice Fishing Contest was held in the Wilson Harbor in Wilson, NY. Fisherman from all over Western New York attended. This event was co-sponsored by Feather & Fur Bait Shop located on Route 425 in Wilson, NY and OutdoorsNiagara.com. Adults and children enjoyed fishing from sunrise until noon for prizes. The weather was perfect for a great day on the ice. The event wound up at the Wilson Conservation Club with great food, door prizes and awards. Looking forward to next year for another fine event!
