East Aurora-based fitness and training company Primordial Strength Inc. is asking anyone who has experienced the negative effects of a brain injury due to sports contact to e-mail their story to Primordial President Steven Helmicki at coachhelmicki@gmail.com. Their story will be featured on anticoncussion.com, a new website currently under development by Primordial Strength that will be fully dedicated to all issues related to concussions, brain injury, neck training, rehabilitation and more.
“This is yet another step in our quest to put Buffalo and Western New York, as a community, at the forefront of addressing brain injuries and their prevention in sports,” said Helmicki, a leader in the anti-concussion movement. Primordial is currently working with government organizations, local politicians and businesses to help underwrite the cost of providing all contact sports players the opportunity to reduce neck and head injuries by providing training education and tools.
