15 Local Bands join "The Cover Project"

This is Jason Estepan representing Travesty Pictures. Travesty Pictures is an independent viral marketing team comprised of two film makers. We came up with the cover project to launch Travesty Pictures along with the local Western New York music scene. We are aware that many bands are trying very hard to reach a large audience and make a living from music with no success. We created a team of audio engineers, music producers, fifteen bands along with our two film makers to make this cover project a reality. We have discounts on all of the studios and we personally are giving out free labor and promotion for these bands. Unfortunately we need a budget to launch this project and pay for the audio labs and the props for the videos. We hope to get local support all around Western New York to fuel this project and make it everything it should be. We expect 20 million to 100 million views on the entire project. Nick Arnot from Travesty Pictures used to run a music video chat series that has over 4 million views using the same strategy for the cover project. Now we are turning that series into a professional MTV quality series. We are using mainstream media to advertise this project through our system we developed. Through research we can find release dates of music videos and the singles from mainstream artists and release our version before they do giving us a huge edge.

We produce a song from start to finish, we then film a music video for that song. The finished product generally goes viral due to our creative marketing plan, resulting in huge success for the bands and individuals we produce. This is an ongoing project, that we have already seen great success with. With the proposed budget we will be producing fifteen videos for this series (our 2011 season).

Below we have a link to our video presentation in an effort to raise money through donations and it explains more of the project.

We have two examples of this project already.

The is our latest video (and video of the series). It's a cover song of "blow" by Kesha expected to reach an audience of around 200,000 people by march.

This last video is our first video from the project, we have upgraded our equipment and crew since this video. It still shows the potential of what this project can be.
