Pet Connection lists February events

Pet Connection Programs Inc., a nonprofit maternity and special care animal shelter located in Marilla, has several community events planned during the month of February. Thanks to fundraising events like these and a group of dedicated volunteers, the shelter has been helping animals find great homes in Western New York since 1984.

On Friday, Feb. 4, Pet Connection volunteers and puppies will be at M&T Bank in East Aurora. Volunteers and pups will also be at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on three Saturdays, Feb. 5, 19 and 26.

The Larkin at Exchange Building will once again host Pet Connection from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11. Come out and support the shelter while visiting one of Buffalo’s most historically significant buildings!

Pet Connection’s Valentine Dinner Dance featuring musical entertainment by Jack Civiletto will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Marilla Fire Hall, located at Two Rod Road and West Avenue. Tickets are just $10 per person and include salad, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, dessert and beverages. A basket auction and 50/50 will also be held, and several overnight getaway packages will be given away. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the shelter at 652-0192.

And from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, shelter representatives will be at the WNY Health Expo at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg.
