The Western New York Friends of the LAM Foundation is holding its sixth annual “Evening of Hope” event on Saturday, Feb. 5, at Asbury Hall, 341 Delaware Ave., Buffalo. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to find a cure for Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), a progressive lung disease that primarily strikes women in the prime of their lives.
The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. and will include wine and beer tasting from several local wineries, breweries and distributors; auctions; live music; food and a cash bar. All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit the national LAM Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Major sponsors of the event are Tops Friendly Markets and Integrity Office.
Tickets for the event are $40 presale and $50 at the door, and are available through the WNY Friends of the LAM Foundation website at www.wnylam.org or by calling 826-4692.
