St. Benedict School is having their annual Drummer Boy Mass on Thursday, December 16, 2010 in the church at 10am. St. Benedict School is located at 3980 Main Street, Amherst, NY 14226.

The whole student body and faculty process into the church bringing wrapped Christmas Gifts to be given to La Casa – a local refugee house in Buffalo. The music from ‘The Drummer Boy’ is played and a special 2nd grade boy is chosen as the Drummer Boy to lead the procession. This special annual tradition at St. Benedict School will surely grip your heart and will remind you of the true meaning of Christmas.

Please come and join us to celebrate this wonderful event and share in our school community. A guided tour of the school can also be given. Just give our school office a call at 835-2518 and we can arrange a time that is convenient for you.
