KENMORE, NY – The Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation and Kenmore Mercy Auxiliary are hosting “Deck the Halls,” a wreath decorating contest featuring wreaths designed by the hospital’s employees and volunteers. Community members are welcome to view and purchase wreaths via Chinese auction from December 1 – December 10. Wreaths will be displayed at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Avenue, in the outpatient hallway
“This event is a great way to kick off the holiday season. The wreath has that sense of tradition with it, but then there are so many things that you do with a wreath,” said Susan Jandzinski, Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation Annual Fund Director. “We hope it will be a successful event that raises a lot of money to help the hospital."
Auction tickets can be purchased for $5 a sheet or $10 for three sheets in the hallway leading to the Outpatient Entrance and through the Foundation on the sixth floor starting December 1.
Proceeds benefit the Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation which helps to fund important hospital items, staff education, and projects.
