My 11 year old daughter wanted to be a hippie for Halloween, and I knew it would be a popular costume this year so we decided to create something that would make her costume different from the rest. We built a cardboard VW that fit over her battery powered scooter that she could drive down the road in. Well we ended up having the whole neighborhood involved. Everyone walks where we live and always stopped in to see how her car was turning out. All the kids helped paint all the designs and everyone got a kick out of it at our local parade. The best part was to watch all the people play the punch bug game and punch each other as they walked by. We all had a great time with it and she wants to keep it to ride around the neighborhood with it...
