SANBORN, N.Y. — Bob McKeown, a former NCCC athlete and NCCC head coach, has been named Athletic Director, respectively, Niagara County Community College VP for Student Services and current Interim AD Bassam Deeb announced today on the Sanborn campus.
“We had a very robust search for this position and were extremely satisfied with the group of finalists that visited the campus,” stated Bassam Deeb. Deeb continued “At the end of the day, I agreed with the search committee’s recommendations that Bob McKeown provides us the ability to effectively communicate with various constituents including the staff, divisional and institutional fit, familiarity with the Community college environment in SUNY, and familiarity with the local culture (both campus and the local high school athletic community).”
NCCC President Dr. James P. Klyczek, echoed Deeb’s sentiment regarding McKeown. “I am happy to see someone who has been so dedicated to NCCC and its students be selected as the next Athletic Director” states James P.
