To Channel 7 News ,
Hello, I spoke with one of your news room employees today about a story, her name
was Ginger. My name is Ricky T. Donovan, Sr. and I would like to tell you about
myself before I discuss a story voters should know ! Currently I hold the elected
position of Independence Party of New York State Committee Member also
Vice-Chair of the Erie County IP Committee. I’ve been a IP member since 1995.
I had the pleasure of meeting presidential candidate Ross Perot in 1996. I then began
my journey in Politics.
I fought against the Garbage Tax of Buffalo in the late 1990’s with the late mayor Griffin on the committee: CATT “Citizens against the Trash” Tax ,lets not forget the
Late Rosa Gibson who brought it to life. Iron Island was also on our committee.
I also ran for Lovejoy District Councilman against Dave Chyzka and Rich Fontana.
Also my political party was influential for the downsizing of the Bflo. Common
Council . I ran for Councilman at Large and Harrison Bob Woolworth ran against
Jim Pitts for Council President. We went to every political debate and swore if elected
We would vote to remove all At large and the Council President positions. Guess
What two years later it happened! By the way I finished fourth in the general election
With over 15,000 votes citywide.
I hope I have grabbed your attention ,here is my complaint against political party raiding. Currently Lenn Lenihan Democratic Erie County Chair and Frank Max
Democrat and the President of the Progressive Democrats of Cheektowaga. These
Two men are on a power grab to take over our State Committee and County Committee
positions. Here is a perfect example : Independence party members were led to believe
a young man named Chris Ahrens was interested in running for the 58th Senate seat.
So, they signed the petition for him. Unknown to these IP members that a scheme was
In the works! That scheme set up by Frank Max who heads the Sanitation Department
in Cheektowaga where Chris Ahrens is one of his sanitation workers. After the petitions were filed Chris Ahrens drops out of the race. Guess who is on his committee to fill vacancy but William Stachkowski .
Now, we have Frank Max running other Cheektowaga employees and members of the
Progressive Dem’s who switched to the IP to fill IP committee seats. I asked;
Why is Lenny and Frank so determined to take us over. Because Lenny has lost
His control of the Water Authority where Jack O Donnell is now appointed and Lenny
Lost control of the Erie County legislature where a coalition of 6 republicans ,2 dems
and Lynn Dixon elected IP member now rule for the taxpayer . Lets see Lenny blames Sandra Rosenswie ,the Erie County IP Chair. She handed him his ass !
Maybe it’s a start for the taxpayer to see real change for them.
I wonder when someone will print this story and help the process for good government.
Frank MaCay the IP State Chairman is in a run for his political life in New York.
I have a coalition of IP members running to oust Frank MaCay and his corrupt exec.
Team . I have Franks spending log for the IP expenses . Six thousand in phone expenses
three times in two month period! What’s that ! I am running for one of the top five
State for the IP State Committee where I already won my seat. Going into my 12th Year.
I also where the hat of Past Commander of the American Legion , Post 63
of Lackawanna, NY. Men and women have sacrificed there lives for freedom
of political choice. Against oppression not only abroad but from within.
This MAD GRAB for power by Len Lenihan and Frank Max is no different.
They are systematically taking over the voice of choice of the very residents
They work and share there town with. I would hope you and your staff can
Embrace my story . This is against NYS Election Law and they should be brought
Up on charges for election fraud. Frank Max is pretty tough guy using that young
Man in his political madness ,maybe the guys job was at stake. He’s only in his
Early twenty’s. Help me get this story out to the public before primary day.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
Ricky T. Donovan
141st State Committee Member
Erie County IP Vice-Chair
