Snowfall by the numbers across WNY!

The snow continues to fall and the piles are growing bigger & bigger!  While every corner of WNY has been covered in snow, some communities are seeing much more than others.  While initially the S. Tier lead the way with several inches of snow Monday evening, the Northtowns quickly passed them in total snowfall as the upper level low pressure system and Lake Ontario targeted the Tonawandas, Wheatfield & Lockport with the steadiest snow rates.

The system is beginning to pull out of WNY and most areas will see the flakes fade this afternoon, but communities like Batavia and Medina may have to wait until after dinner for the snow to stop.

As snow spotters started scraping this morning the totals started drifting in and now we have a pretty good picture of how this storm spread across ALL of WNY.  Check out the snow totals above to see how your area stacks up... and keep in mind we will have to add some inches to some of these communities before the storm ends.
