WNY Company Involved in World Series

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The World Series kicks off on Wednesday night, With the Boston Red Sox taking on the Saint Louis Cardinals. One Western New York company is heavily involved in the series.

Delaware North Company, based in Buffalo, has teamed up with the St. Louis Cardinals for the last 45 years, playing a part in the novelties fans buy and the food purchased at the stadium.

While the World Series gets started in Boston, crews are setting up in St. Louis at Busch Stadium, getting ready for the second part of the series.

This is the fourth year in a row that Delaware North Company has been showcased in the World Series.

John Wentzell, the President of Delaware North Company Sportservice, says "It's certainly good for business, I think it's more important that it gives us an opportunity to be on a big stage as well."
