Victim's Daughter Helps Plan Flight 3407 Memorial Run

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - This weekend hundreds of people will run in the 5th Annual Flight 3407 Memorial Race.

The daughter of the man who lost his life when Flight 3407 crashed into their house in now speaking out for the first time.

Jill Wielinski Hohl is the daughter of Doug Wielinski, who died in the crash. Jill is now serving as the event's race director.

Jill says her father always gave to others, and would be touched by the outpouring of community support

"He is smiling down from heaven, just knowing that people are fighting for the causing and supporting each other, so that people don't have to worry about something like this," Jill says.

The run takes place Saturday, October 5th at the Clarence Town Park. The 5-K run starts at 9:30 a.m. The Fun Run begins at 10 a.m.
