BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - About 60,000 guests tour the ships, sub, memorials and museum each year at Buffalo’s Naval and Military Park.
However, some days are not quite like Veterans Day.
Retired Army Colonel Patrick Cunningham makes sure the museum is preserved for generations to come.
“That’s the whole purpose of my life, is to protect and preserve these vessels so the sacrifices these individuals made who served on them can be perpetuated,” Col. Cunningham said.
On Monday we all honor those who have worn the uniform. The museum is open from 10a.m. to 5p.m. on Veterans Day.
