A teenager has plead guilty to first degree manslaughter in the stabbing death of a 16-year-old whose burned body was left in a wooded area behind a popular custard stand on Colvin Avenue.

18-year-old Demetrius Huff plead guilty in court Monday.

As part of his plea agreement Huff will remain behind bars for 25 years, the maximum sentence.

Huff, along with 17-year-old Ezeiekile Nafi, has also been charged with second degree murder.

Authorities say the defendants lured 16-year-old Darren Brown into a wooded area, stabbed him, then set his body on fire last July.

Both teens will go on trial for the murder charge, which also carries a maximum sentence of 25 years.
