Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo’s Historic Theatre District will present BUFFALO QUICKIES 2013, the 22nd annual celebration of new one-act plays, April 4-27, 2013. This year, the festival will be directed by Joyce Stilson and, once again, feature world premieres of recent finalists and one-act winners of the Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition.

Buffalo Quickies 2013 is the third production of Alleyway Theatre’s thirty third season dedicated to new works. Always a smorgasbord of tasty theatrical tidbits flavored with the spice of life, this year’s festival boasts seven new plays. The desires and foibles of the human heart is a prevalent theme in this year’s collection of quirky short plays. Suitable for adult/teen audiences.
