MAYVILLE, NY (WKBW) - The fate of Anthony Taglianetti is in the jury's hands.

Two hours of closing arguments wrapped up on Friday morning for the defense in the murder trial against Anthony Taglianetti. The judge then instructed the jury, and they are currently in deliberations.

Taglianetti is accused of shooting Keith Reed to death in September of 2012, after finding out Reed and his wife resumed an online affair.

Defense attorney Nathaniel Barone told the jury that there were still many holes in the prosecution's case. Barone said that the case was built on circumstantial evidence and questioned the credibility of many witnesses.

We will have a live reporting coming up from Mayville tonight on Eyewitness News at 5 and 6.
