Suspect In Clymer Murder May Be Hiding In Virginia

CLYMER, NY (WKBW) - Eyewitness News is learning more about who this suspect is and what connected these two men.

Eyewitness News spoke with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, and so far the supect, identified as Anthony Robert Taglianetti II and is still on the run and has not yet been captured.

He's accused of traveling from his home in Woodbridge, Virginia to Chautauqua County sometime Friday. Deputies say it was then, he shot and killed Clymer Superintendent Keith Reed, who's body was discovered Monday morning.

Deputies won't specifically say what connected the two men, only telling us their relationship was quote personal, Taglianetti has no ties to Western New York, Police claim they have no doubt Taglianetti is the man responsible.

Deputies believe Taglianetti may have travelled back to his hometown of Woodbridge, Virginia. He has been working for the U.S. Marine Corps in it's field history division, he is considered armed and dangerous.

The deputies from Chautauqua County have been sent to Virginia to try and track him down, authorities there are also on the look out.
