NIAGARA FALLS, ONT (WKBW) - Police on both sides of the border continue to search for the body of a Japanese tourist who went over Niagara Falls after slipping off a railing on the Canadian side.

Ayano Tokumasu, 20, of Japan, was taking English classes in Toronto and was visiting Niagara Falls, Ontario with friends.

She was posing for a picture, straddling a railing near the Horseshoe Falls when she slipped off and fell in the water.

Police are also trying to prevent a similar incident by asking people to stay off the railing. Even days after the tragedy, young children were spotted scaling the same railing where Tokumasu fell to her death.
