Buffalo, NY

The Buffalo Sabres cleaned house Wednesday. General Manager Darcy Regier and Head Coach Ron Rolston, fired and replaced by Patrick LaFontaine as President of Hockey Operations and Ted Nolan taking over as Interim Head Coach.

The entire city was abuzz with the news.

It's no secret the energy from both fans and players was at a new low with many people selling their tickets dirt cheap or simply not even going to the games.

But with Wednesday's news seats at the Sabres games have become a hot commodity. Tickets for this Friday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs selling for up to $400 as fans look forward to a brighter future.

Even just with the few practices under the new management between now and this Friday's game fans say they think they will see new energy from the team and much more passion.
