BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Restaurant Week in Western New York begins Monday, running through October 21, giving diners a chance to sample food from 200 area restaurants for just $20.12.
The popular event provides and economic boom for many of the locally owned restaurants that participate.
"It brings in new customers. It's an affordable way of marketing also," explains Shelly Schratz, owner of Bings on Kensington Avenue in Amherst.
The eatery even expanded its hours this week just to accommodate customers taking advantage of Restaurant Week.
