BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Take a stroll down Allen Street, and you will see more than one new restaurant getting ready to open its doors.

But the newest, most talked about business is not a restaurant or even an art gallery. In fact, this new business is on wheels.

Allentown Pedicab is the newest way to bar hop in style. Owner Landon Chaffee got the idea during a recent trip to New York City where he rode a pedicab for the first time.

"And I loved it so much I wanted to give Buffalonians the chance to experience something cool like that," he said.

A pedicab is half bicycle, half cart. Chaffee charges $1 per minute and can transport up to two people at once.

"Whether it's barhopping or whether it's getting someone to the grocery store everybody's got a smile on their face," he said.

That is, unless you don't mind bumpy roads. Buffalo has plenty of those.
