BUFFALO, NY(WKBW) - Buffalo police officers remained on the scene of a double fatal car crash through the overnight just hours after a routine traffic stop ended in tragedy.
A Buffalo Police spokesman said officers pulled over a vehicle during the stop at Best and Fillmore at around 8 p.m. Thursday evening, but the male driver took off.
He made it less than five blocks north on Fillmore before crashing into three utility polls.
One of the polls fell on a female pedestrian, killer her.
The male driver also died.
