Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - The address is 469 Virginia Street Buffalo, New York.

It's a historic site in the heart of the Queen City.

"The original owner of E.F. Hall. This was built for him in 1884," Trustee Marian Giallombardo said.

The second owner was Hall's partner and photographer Howard Beach. Beach's photographs and even equipment is still in the home.

"He was rather famous photographer. He shot the Indians at the Pan Am Exhibition and Katharine Cornell and other famous folks," Marian Giallombardo said.

In 1974, the building was bought Lawyer and developer Salvatore Giallombardo.

"My father bought this building when I was a teenager. It so spectacular to come in here and feel history," Susan Giallombardo said.

Since their father passed away in 2009, sisters Susan & Marion Giallombardo have taken over. They are selling the property along with all the history inside.

"Lots of details from tiled floors to hand carved wood, ached windows in stained glass," Marian Giallombardo said.

They found some items that were extra specials.

"We found flags that my sister noticed had only 42 stars. We looked it up, they are from 1880," Marian Giallombardo said.

They will be holding an estate sale that will be open to the public this weekend. They say everyone is welcome.

"The contents paint a picture of the history of buffalo," Estate Sale Organizer Andrew Gay said.

The sister said it is not only about the selling and renovating of their piece of property. They said it also contributes to the improving area in that part of the Queen City.

"I've never seen anything like this in buffalo and I hope the people who buy this building keep it as close to its original state as possible," Susan Giallombard said.
