BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - As the family of Isabella "Bella" Tennant, grieves the loss of the little girl, her family's friends are coming forward in a show of support.

"I couldn't imagine what Crystal and her family was going through. We see her daughter all the time. Bella always comes into work," said Jennifer Pienkowski, who works with Bella's mother at Olive Garden on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga.

Pienkowski said she had just seen Bella at a child's birthday party over the weekend.

5-year-old Bella was found dead in a dumpster in Niagara Falls after being left in the care of her great-grandmother the night before. A 16-year-old family friend is suspected of causing her death and is being questioned by police.

"Bella and my son were pretty close and I don't know how I'm going to tell him," said Deanna Hand, another coworker of Bella's mother.

The women all work together at the Olive Garden, which is accepting donations to help Bella's family with funeral costs.
