Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Artists, innovators, and entrepreneurs have new place in Western New York to grow their ideas. It's at 298 Northampton Street in Buffalo, it's called The Foundry, and it's in the former location of Re-Use Buffalo. That building was originally built as a commercial laundry facility. It now houses several workshops and small business including a start-up custom bicycle business, and natural beauty products business started by a 12-year-old girl.

Having the businesses and workshops all under one roof encourages collaboration, and many of the artists share their talents by teaching classes or giving demonstrations at the Foundry. You're invited to check it out for yourself. There is an open house this Saturday, May 11th, from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.
