BUFFALO, N.Y (WKBW) - Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams addressed the media following recent allegations made by his ex-fiance.

More specifically, allegations that Williams was suicidal and secretly used prescription pain killers last November following the Bills' loss to the New England Patriots.

Williams says text messages released by his ex's lawyer are blown out of proportion.

This situation is part of a legal dispute between Williams and his ex-fiance over an engagement ring.

When Williams signed on with the Buffalo Bills last summer, then fiancé Erin Marzouki was by his side. She was sporting a 10-carat, $785,000 on her finger. The couple called it off in January but according to a lawsuit filed by Williams' attorney, Marzouki still has the ring.

Bills head coach Doug Marrone says he had a private conversation with Williams, and adds the team is taking it seriously, but wouldn't comment further.
