The protestors held their home-made signs high for all driving by to see.

This protest happening while President Obama made the rounds in Washington, arguing America must take action against a regime that killed more than a thousand of its own people with sarin gas.

Congressman Brian Higgins said he will be voting no on the resolution for a military intervention in Syria.

The vote is set for the end of this week or early next week.

It's important to remember the president can still authorize military action even if congress does not approve the measure.
